Wow put fire in something and you will find the leaks. I think that lump is going to be a fire starter only as it doesn't seem to last very long in the giant cavern. Got some nice thin blue smoke. Temp stayed right at 239 which i like, but spits and 1/4s may work better for heat. Not...- smokey mo

So....the trailer fit into the shop. I blasted as much of the inside as I could before being blinded. Blasting in a tube is not what I call 'fun'. it is ready. the smokestack is cut welded and in place. It will need some structural assistance because it is 1/2" wall 6" pipe (no complaints it...- smokey mo

Update. Finishing out the welds tonight and tomorrow. Then tomorrow night we take a road trip to the sandblaster...if it will fit in the shed that is. Quick coat of paint then fire on Thursday, then maybe (God willing) first cook Friday night. Saturday is the big event. So far we 20 roasts...- smokey mo

update... the drip pan angle iron tacked into place....then started the RF plates. My helper was taking a break...about 10 seconds after this was snapped he passed out and slept for about an hour while my Dad and I worked on the doors and the end cap. I think I have been beating him...- smokey mo
