    Got a call from a guy from Letgo. He has one of these smokers brand new in the box for 135$ Better reviews than MES 30" anyone dealt with this smoker ?

    Thanks Al. I have seen quite a few on the 30" and 40 " MES but not on the portable. I had a 30" a few years back. This portable only has 2 racks in it but reviews are good. QVC has it on 4 pay plan which if I end up not liking it , I won't be out too much cash

    Masterbuilt portable electric smoker

    I have read too many reviews to count on this smoker. Most are positive. My first question is , will a long smoke burn / char the meat if using the lower rack ? It seems awful close to the heating element. I don't want something that I have to rotate trays halfway through the smoking process
