The more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards just buying a smoker. This wood one is borrowed and so I'd need to buy one at some point. The thought of 20# of fishy bacon is not a pleasant one. Lowe's has a pretty good looking MES 30 electric (model 20071514) in stock nearby for $179...- grillius
