    My wife found some beef ribs on sale at Walmart and I've been dying to try out my new backwoods smoker. Overall they turned out good not a lot of meat on them but they were tender. I smoked them for 3 hours and then put them in a foil pan with beef stock and BBQ sauce for another 3 hours.

    The burn ban doesn't include grills but unfortunately to pre-burn the wood my only option is to burn it in a fire pit.

    Awesome thanks it is a insulated vertical smoker. I thought it would be possible just thought I would ask. Sorry for the stupid question lol.
