Birthday chicken.
Well the local butcher had chicken quarters (leg and thighs) brined them for about 8 hr and rubbed them maple smokehouse from Mc Cormic and put them on the grill they cooked a little faster then I wanted but still came out moist and flavorful. Here some pics- zzrguy

beef ribs 1st attempt
I haven't had big beef ribs in years all you can find here are short ribs . I ordered a prime rib once and they asked if I wants the rib off it and the cut them perfect for grilling.one of the best choices I made that year and to take the Giant over the Pats in the super bowl Thanks off to the...- zzrguy

I think them being frozen when that went on help. I was thinking of trying it with fresh shrimp on a stick cause you cant put the frozen ones on a stick.- zzrguy

What to buy now that my grill is dying
Well her she is 3 Years old and a true disappointment it was covered and cleaned in the off season. Rear vents plugged up to get the heat up she is a little dirty cause it been used twice this season. All that crap is the rust that fell off the flavorizer and mount brackets...- zzrguy

bad pellets = bad cold smoke...
I got some pellet to use in a friend smoker they were a little moist when I got the and didn't really make a nice smoke I put the bag in a dry box and the desiccant dried them out some and they were fine the next time I used them. So maybe yours are a little moister.- zzrguy
