I buy all my maple leaf hardwood lump charcoal at home depot, as a matter of fact I bought the last 10 bags at 13.99 at the St-Hubert store back in November, the thing is they don`t restock till the spring as most people don`t try to make BBQs in the middle of a quebec winter lol

there isn't a bag of lump to be found in all of Montreal, so I'm thinking about heading south, I'm about an hour from platsburge new york anybody know a place there or near where I can stock up for the rest of the winter? I want to get at least 10 bags or so, hope the duty back...

it's amazing how many people told me they were sick of turkey after christmas but, after trying my smoked turkey they came back for seconds
another succesfull smoke and thats for the help folks it's very much appreciated
I got mine and the delivery was very fast concidering it had to cross the border into canada to get to me
oh and by the way, the thong smokes up real nice
I use a slowcooker / crock pot alot at home , what with the wife and I both working full time it come in real handy, and we love walking in at the end of our day to a ready to eat home made stew

ok so the pork didn't last past lunch :-) but the turkys are resting nicley in the kitchen waiting for me to pull all the meat off and make a couple of platters one for white meat and one for dark
