I actually took nearly 2 months to finally decide. early on in the process i was all about Traeger, having drank the koolaid on them pioneering the pellet smoker and having one of the first patents etc. But the deeper down the rabbit hole you go...

I've only done 2 ribeyes so far but i didnt notice any crazy swings maybe +/-5 degrees. I see that most people do experience them and i know my cook was only about an hour...

    FYI: Pit Boss Austin XL Grill Cover fits PB1100

    Thats an awesome find OP. Im actually leaning very heavily on getting the PB pro series 1100 from lowes so this will come in handy as i noticed the cover on PB site specific for the grill was out of stock.
