    I've worked in the HVACR business (2 different companies) for the past 25 years. Started with control panel wiring, then to line electrician, then to final stage test technician, then to Quality Assurance Technician and teacher. Company sold and moved to Rhode Island and Virginia. I retired.

    Out of all the stuff we ordered this past week, the slicer is the only thing we haven't received yet. I anxious for it to get here. We will be needing it to slice our pastrami's this weekend and also for 5 pounds of cheese we have sitting in the freezer.

    We just got back from motorcycle riding. Didn't even need a jacket. Lovely day out. We're doing 2 patrami's tomorrow in the mini-smoker (as apposed to using the word toy). I've got a batch of homemade baked beans (those big white lima kind) in the oven now, complete with smoked buckboard bacon.
