    Long time eater first time smoker. I have always wanted to smoke and got a dyno glo for Christmas. 3 cooks in and I am hooked. I have a good amount of tweaking to do to this unit. Found a ton of great advice on here so far!

    Having temperature control issues on my Dyna-glo verticals smoker.

    I have the same model and have done one dry run and two cooks. If I have more than 10 briquettes alive this thing is at 290 and it was 35 degrees outside. I was able to get god results but that needs new coals ever 30 minutes (12 hour cook....got old). A half full box puts me sky high. My...
