I am assuming you mean the charcoal lighter? I used it the first time last night and it worked like a charm. You can leave coals in the lighting can (which I did) or remove the can to allow the to spread out. Advantage of leaving them in the starter is that you can easily create 2...- kjlued

First review of the new que.
As some of you know from a previous post, I bought the new STōK Tower charcoal grill. The main thing that won me over vs the the Webber Kettle was the cast iron grill. The others was the price, the versatility, and the ease of use (the charcoal is so easy to light a 5 year could do it)...- kjlued

That center piece is for lighting the charcoal and then can either be left in or pulled out with the handle. What is nice about it, if you cook a pizza, you can leave it in and really get the stone hotter then hell. However, I do question how long the stone will last with a direct flame under...- kjlued

I can honestly say I am probably in the top 10% (probably closer to the 1%ers) of beer lovers out there and I have turned down both. Not all free beer is good no matter how cold it is. I mean if I brew some beer with piss and freeze it for you, will you drink it? Not to mention, some beers...- kjlued

Smoking the dough
That is one thing about cold smoking is there is no way to add moisture with a water tray as there is no heat (well as little heat as possible which does not create steam). I did not mist the dough at all but I only smoked it for a little over 30 minutes and I live in a moderatrely hummid... -

420 is not a bad beer.....not a great one either, but the brewery is a pretty decent brewery. The thing is great beers never get popular. Look at Bud Light. The citrus flavor comes from the type of hops they use and I look for that in a hoppy beer. If you like that, try Hopslam from Bells Brewery. Damn near perfection when it comes to that type of beer but it is a little pricey. It is a seasonal and a little hard to find but it is currently...- kjlued

We have ABC stores here and they don't sell beer or wine, only liquor. SC is the same way. However, we do have some specialy beer stores and grocery stores that sell individal bottles. Some offer a discount and some don't. However, the ones who don't usually have a cheaper price.- kjlued
