    I'm welding in the RF plate and I was wondering if some tiny gaps along the sides are ok or does it need to be fully welded?

    They do. I've been using flux core because it's been so windy here. Plus, driving after a few beers would be a career ended for me.

    Son of a crap! I'm less than an hour from being ready to light a fire and what happens? I run out of welding wire. Guess I underestimated how much I needed.

    Got the air intakes cut and installed. Getting ready to weld the FB to the CC. Man I hope this thing works!

    Finally got the FB door attached. Now all I have left to do is make the air intakes, attaché it to the CC and light a fire to check for leaks.
