Gotcha...know that all the welders want 50A...but all I can say is that I welded all day on dual 30A and never popped once...

First....welcome!
I did my build with an angle grinder and cutoff wheels. It's long and painful...but works. I did all of my cuts free hand, but definitely followed lines I drew using straight edges/etc. No way I'd trust or try eyeballing.
As for the welder...have a harbor freight near you...
Good to see this so very close to being done :) I'm obviously not a pro or very experienced...but if you're really concerned about the holes/pitting...I'd mix up some JB Weld and fill them...let it cure...then sand down flush. Paint will definitely hide the rest.

Holding up just fine...however I was only able to manage a couple of cooks on her before the weather turned....and that's a good point...she's parked in my garage for the winter...definitely not out in the elements.
Hey gang....I just finished building my first offset stick burner. Had my first cook on her this past weekend and everything was great. My question to yall is how you go about cleaning larger smokers. My WSM was of course easy...I'd just empty/dry the water pan, and then burn off the cooking...
