     Mopar,  Looking great . Got a question for all . I seen alot of smokers and all of fire boxes looks very close to the ground is this just the pics that makes it look so close or are they very close to ground. I am thinking they should be no lower than the axle. Is this the case in most smokers ?

    Fire Box ( how thick 1/4" or 3/16 " )

    Need help on how thick i should go. 1/4" thick will be about 300+ lbs 3/16 will be about 100lbs less. will 3/16 warp ? the box size is 30x30x24 . my steel guy is trying to talk me into 3/16. i know 300 + lbs is alot of weight but i think if i brace it to the frame of trailer i should be ok. Need...

    Morpar ,  Did you weld your rf  plate on top of your FB or do you a gap ? whats the dist. from bottom of your tank to rf  plate ?

     raptor, May i ask how far in you cut the tank for the fire box and what is the size of your fire box, and how far from the bottom of the tank is the bottom plate .also the gap at the at the end of the tank . also how is it working ? Thanks, oh..... nice looking 350

     If i did this right the pit cal. says fire to cook area would be 18.25sq inches how do i get that cut from a rounded propane tank (250 gal.) it seems like a very small hole for the heat from the f- box into the tank. and trying to get it for a rounded is make my head pound......lol  Do i need...

    Mine 250 gal propane tank it 30" dim. by about 8' - 9' long . that seem right ? not to sure if mine is a 250 gal.  sure seem big was hoping for may 150 - 200 gal. Oh well........ guess it cant be to big can it ?

    Got a stupid question. Can you use your RF smoker as charcoal inside the pit. ? I am not talking about putting charcoal in the firebox.
