Just an observation. Treated lumber contains arsenic. I'm not sure that the combination of heat, humidity, arsenic and food is the best answer. Cedar is naturally rot/bug resistant, on its own. However, better decay/pest protection could be attained using Cyprus. in general it can hold its own...
