I have the Gen 2.5 BT and my Maze fits just fine on the left side and raised about 1 1/2' - 2" sitting on a wire rack the same size as the Maze off the bottom pan.
My 2.5 is a 40" ... Is yours a 30"???? ... If so, then that would make a difference.

I didn't think about it until just now, but to add to what Bear said, if the Vent is on top on left side and door latches on the right side, it is probably a Bluetooth 2.5 model. Also a shield over the controller.
If the Vent is on the left side and not the top, it is probably a 2.0 model.
I don't know what is and isn't true in what he told me. All I am doing is reporting what he told me, regardless of whether it is fact or fiction. I do have to say though that it sounds like fiction, but as I said before, I have never smoked a brisket, so I don't know.
I dunno ... He said the point was perfect, juicy and falling apart, but the flat was more solid and sliced like a Tri-Tip roast. He did smoke it for 5 hrs and wrapped it for 9 hrs, so it could have cooked a bit more, but surely not that much.
I just don't know as I have NO experience with...
