That is true.... I never pay attention to if I have one or not.... Just posting some information that might help others, but I don't know that it will or not.
I ordered the Vortex Smoker and some of the Pellets with 30% charcoal blend from Smoke Daddy and they arrived this week. As soon as I am feeling better, I am going to try that Smoker and those Pellets and will post in this forum what the results were.
I am not sure if Amazen Products has charcoal pellets, but this place does...

I didn't like Jeff's sauce, so I revised it and now love it. Everyone that has tried my revised recipe of Jeff's Sauce, like it better than anything bought at the store. I don't mean to brag here, but that is the gospel truth.
Jeff has 2 rubs ... Jeff's Naked Rub and .... Texas Rub ... I like the Texas Rub best .... If you obtained his Naked Rub by buying it, then you should already have the Texas Rub Recipe ....
The reason I ask is that one of my Son's is looking at both. On one hand he likes the TRAGER, but he has looked into the construction of both both and says the metals and construction of the REC TEC are better quality than the TRAGER.
What is the difference between a Standard Trager Wood Pellet Grill and this REC TEC Wood Pellet Grill I saw by accident...

Does anyone know any thing about these grills when comparing them?
Smoker Daddy Pellets are 70% wood and 30% charcoal blend that will burn a bit hotter to help prevent the smoker pellets from going out like other distributors pellets sometimes do (which I have experienced) plus helping to give you a smoke ring, so they say. I haven't tried them yet, but will...
As some of you know, I have complained since day one that my Maze with Todds Pellets won't stay lit part of the time and doesn't put out enough smoke when it accidentally stays lit, no matter what adjustments I make. I have tried everything short of installing the "Mailbox Setup". In order to...
Not enough space between the slabs of ribs for good air flow plus if you would have read what I said in post # 1124 above, it said that the tops of slabs lean into each other, thus that limits the air flow between them. If they had an inch or two all the way up between them, then yes there would...
Bear, they stand on edge, but flop over somewhat into each other at the top of the rib racks, so there isn't as much space between them as you would think. even though I have a tent over smoker to keep grease drippings off of it, I still have my worse problems when smoking ribs. The less meat in...
I would guess that you smoked them one slab on each shelf, whereas I smoked 4 slabs on ONE shelf in a rib rack. Thus maybe chocking up the air flow????
I'm going to try the Tube from Amazing Pellets and if it doesn't work, I may try the Vortex. I am sure the "mail box" will work, but I would like for the Tube or Vortex to work with out adding an outside contraption.
Yeah I know that from reading what others say about the mail box. No doubt it will work and solve my problem, but if there is a way, I would rather solve the problem without adding outside attachments that I have to hook up every time I use smoker because I use a Masterbuilt Cover on my Smoker...
