Thanks Wade, that's very kind of you. I may well take you up on your offer especially if my soldering iron smoker proves to be rubbish.
I had ordered a cheap soldering iron from ebay which arrived yesterday so had a go at making a smoker using the soldering iron and a coffee cannister.
The...
I ordered 3 bags on Friday, just got an email to say they haven't got any stock left and they've refunded me my money
So unless you find some in one of the branches it looks like it's all gone now.
Could it have been this stuff? I didn't notice it myself but came across this the other day

Delivery is only £3.95 for up to 30kg ie 3 bags after that it's £15 for up to 500kg ie 50 bags. If you want to buy less than 10 bags it's cheaper to buy therm in separate orders of 3. I assume the free delivery is for orders greater than £50 that weigh less than 30kg (edit-it confirms this on...

The pellet smoker looks a great idea, especially with no...
I have just noticed that 10 kg bags of Big K lumpwood charcoal are only £5 from Countrywide Farmers.
If there isn't one near you delivery is only £3.95 for up to 3 bags. So that works out at £18.95 for 30kgs. including delivery
I have used this charcoal and it seems to me to be of at least...
Hi Smokin Monkey
A couple of questions about smoke for you.
1. What do you use to generate smoke in the Kamado? Last night I buried some oak chunks in the coals before lighting and unfortunately managed to light one of them when lighting the charcoal so with the fan of the pit controller at...
I've got small Landmann Offset smoker I don't want and I thought I'd offer it here before giving it away on Freecycle.
If you can collect it from the borough of Greenwich in London, it's yours.
It's not very great quality the steel is very thin. I modified it to work (slightly) better doing...
