Jalapenos are coming in like mad.

This is awesome, as I'm diabetic as well, but instead of Splenda I use a product called Swerve, which is based in eyrthrotol, a sugar alcohol that is sweat, but doesn't raise blood sugar. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Big Rec Tec or smaller US made unit? Size VS Value

I have the Yoder 640 and totally love it. I would have no qualms about the 480. Super well built units. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    need recomendation

Welcome. I will echo SeenRed. I have owned charcoal (Weber kettle), multiple gas, stick burners, electric, and now a Yoder pellet pooper. I have gotten rid of all others now. I love my pellet pooper. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If there can be wine snobs, why not wood snobs?

Hickory and oak have always been my go to woods. At my old house I had a bunch of both that died in drought and so had wood galore. I have been running hickory in my new YS640, but about to switch to a hickory, maple, cherry, and apple. Looking forward to this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Lamb how I love thee.

I think that is due to the lamb we use in the US. The lamb in Europe is way better. My wife doesn't like lamb here but loves it in Italy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Yoder YS640 1st Brisket

Best brisket I have ever done. Followed the method taught by Aaron Franklin in his videos on YouTube and used a modified version of his rub, it was equal parts salt and pepper with some garlic and onion powder and a spice I brought from Nigeria called pepe for a touch of heat and total...

Welcome. Try using an Amazing Tube Smoker to add plenty of tasty smoke on your Yoder. I find that adds all the smoke I need. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Yoder YS640 1st Brisket

Smoking my first brisket on the Yoder today at my wife's request. Poor me. Also my first chance to use the new maverick 735, which has been great thus far. The beef seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and pepe (Nigerian spice) Screenshot of temps Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thinking of doing my first bacon

All sugar is bad sadly. To be brutally honest carbs in general are bad. I can use the sugar alcohols, like erthrytol which the body can't break down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
