    Just curious.

    I'm for the Right to Bear Arms. I pack every day because carrying a sidearm is part of my job. The rest of the time I carry because it's my right and some of my neighbors are sketchy looking, the way we refer to it at the office "JDLR" (they Just Don't Look Right).

    Pounce, glad you liked them! If you do a search of the Recipe sub-forum, you should find my other bean recipe. It's Dutch's Ranch Style bean. Give 'me a try and let me know how you liked them!

    I use SoFlaQue's Finishing Sauce. I make it two different ways-regular strength and hot. I make two batches and add extra chipotle chili powder to the second batch.

    levithan9, shhh, I've done that before. Get all the ingredients to make my bean and realized I had no pineapple. Luckily I found a can of Apple sauce so I used that instead.

    Sonny, glad my beans are a hit at your house. As I say, change up the recipe to suit your family's taste. I'm going to have to give the canned chilies a try. It would make things easier in camping trips!
