I was in Gander the other day and saw the Big Chief replacement elements on clearance for $1.99.
Bad news is I got rid of the Big Chief I had. But if I wanted to add one to my MES, would I just need to get a Big Chief receptacle to use the element....is their another way to connect it to a...
I used a package of Simply Potatoes Southwest Style Hash Browns. They come in a bag and are not frozen. Added some sharp cheddar, sliced jalapeno, red onions and made scrambled eggs. Sliced it up and put it between an English Muffin with some tobasco.
I did 2 for the first time in my MES. They were great. We had one for breakfast and took the other to a Xmas party. Here is some Q-shots....forgot to get one of the inside fillings.

Wife loves hers rare and was not thrilled about my idea of smoking one. Thought it would come out dry. THEN I showed her a pic of one on here...
The better half just shook her head and asked me why I needed a 4th smoker. I promised to do a chicken for her this weekend.
Now, I have to do some searches and learn a bit about it. Is adding charcoal a pain?
It is rewarding to sit down and eat after the time involved preparing it. I mean you start the night before with the rub and then half-a-day cookin.
I have a bit of an obsessive personality too. Having to watch the temp. means I will be home all day; outside the garage with the Sirius radio...
Well gentlemen, my smoking career has been short thus far but rewarding.
It started out after this past deer season. I was using a Big Chief top loader that I got for free. Started with the jerky. Was not crazy about the top loader. I made a wind break for it and it worked to the point of...
