    MES 40 1200watt cost to smoke

    Has anyone ever calculated the power(watts) used to smoke with the MES 40 1200watt?  MES 30? I would not think it would be more than $5.00 for a 8 hr smoke at 225 degrees. thin blue to you! George from  SC

    Delie, I just bought the MES 40 after having the MES 30.  The only "Mod" I have is I use the AMNPS.  To me this combination is hard to beat. I think the majority here would agree with this.  Todd was a lifesaver with the invention of the AMNPS.  His device made the MES over the top in my...
