    Some years I see more than other years, but developers stripping woods out, unchecked predators ( a lot less people hunt predators like coyotes anymore ) all help numbers to decline. No one traps coons, possum, skunks, Fox, ect. either which doesn’t help.

    The things are like rats here, I get flocks in the yard a couple times a day. There is no fall season though of course, only spring Turkey hunts here.

    I was thinking back to my Grandma ( on dads side ) , she used cast iron to feed her 12 kids. Cooking started at breakfast and ended at supper! She never stuck her pans in an oven to season, just some lard after each use. You could have ice skated in those pans! Wiped clean after cooking...

    Muscovy duck

    wife made the soup and is going to can it, that should soften the meat chunks even more. She cans deer and other creatures I drag home from the woods with me. It really makes venison tender so I’m betting it would on the Muscovy also.
