I see a lot of recommendations using egg, but I do not... and have never had a burning problem... wonder if that is the cause? I cook my Turkey patties over a med. direct heat (approx. 400ish) and flip once halfway through (about 6 to 8 min. per side depending on temp and patty thickness) My...- squatch

That's one nice thing about living in California... Tri Tip can be found at pretty much every grocery store, and the cut often goes on sale for around $3.49 - $3.99 a pound! Best price I have ever found was on my way back from a fishing trip near Reno/Sparks Nevada where a local store had it on... -
