    Ok thanks for the help, usually i like to cure mine in a ziploc bag with the salt and sugar rubbed on and a little bit of pure maple syrup to help it stick then,just flip the bag every day in the fridge. I dont,know how well it would turn out using the soaking method like tropics mentioned...

    Ok since i have 5lbs of pork belly then 1tsp of pink salt would be enough?.. That doesnt sound like much salt to me but ikno they are 2 different salts

    So i do not have any tender quick to make my bacon wich i have made plenty of times before but do have pink salt my question is if i can substitute the pink salt for tenderquick? Thanks for any help

    Thats good to know there isnt a noticable differnce in the smoke, imho i think smoke is smoke no matter what type of burn it comes from via tube with pellets or pan,with chunks. It does not sound like it is worth the investment in my masterbuilt if it does not change the outcome since i dont...

    I have not had any problems getting a nice clean smoke from mine is there a noticable difference in using the tube over the cast iron pan? I personally dont mind throwing a couple chunks on here and there, i mostly use my gas smoker for hot smoking because i have converted 2 little chief smokers...

    I am not new to smoking, but i have read alot of people using the a n maze. I personaly use a masterbuilt xl 40 propane smoker with all mods that everyone does, but i would like to know if i can use,i,with my smoker and how exactly that works? Much help would be appreciated
