    OK; I am done, finis, kaput, over and out. I put in the last grate today from Lowes. I guess they say the grate business is good see-n-how I bought the last two that were on the shelf the other week. I've got a big fat brisket marinating in the frig that I will be putting on in just a few hours...

    I put a pig sign on the front of my cooker. I pasted it on a piece of metal I had and spaced it 1/2 in from barrel. It really looks nice however my pic doesn't really show it well. I have got to get a business name plate made to put on this sweet thing. My wife said this is my other woman. Well...

    Once you build one you will be hooked. Its amazingly simple and it produces some of the best "Q". This UDS will be going with me to my first KCBS competition in April.

    I cut a piece of 16 ga metal with one end shaped to fit the barrel. I welded two pieces of rolled steel to the plate to serve as a mounting bracket. It fits perfect and provides gracious space to mount your gadgets.

    To make the holder for the attachment, I welded two 1/2" nuts to the rib of the barrel.
