Grease Fire in Fridge build...
My Fridge built is done...doing some chicken and couple baby back ribs....mine I use lump from bottom. walked away for a bit and daughter said why are there flames coming out of the smoker. Fridge is out of square....the stainless tin I lined the door and corners is now like paper. Not sure...- bbqonice

exhaust and vent size on fridge build using lump
hi...I finished my fridge build this past spring...being smoking and bbqing up a storm since....but fridge is still work in progress. for fire I just use tin pan and put lump and wood chips on the bottom of the interior of the fridge. Sometimes put a heat sink about the coals, etc. I...- bbqonice

hi all..want to put it right out their quickly rather than searching around on here. I want to use a standard two burner table top hot plate for my smokehouse....it will be about 1500 watts total on 110 power cord. Found the site while searching for info on fridge smokers. Our family has done their own sausage, bacon, fish, jerky since before I was born. Old Ukrainian recipies...lol. We currently have a newer walkin smokhouse at the homestead..but it is 4hrs away...so rather than the few times a year... -
