    Firstdue, does your perfect flame have a cast iron smoke box or the tin box? I picked one up too and mine came with the tin box.... I wanted the cast iron box instead. I too don't get alot of smoke.. I get a lot at first but then the chips turn into charcoal and stop making smoke. I just keep...

    Anyone here with an Old Smokey?

    I just started using an Old Smokey to get started. Today is my first butt and everything is going as planned. The Old Smokey is working well and keeping a constant temperature. I have read they don't produce a nice bark because it's a sealed unit to keep moisture in.
