yes 1 and 2 are coming from the wall, terminals 3 and 4 run the ssr, im running one leg off the hot wire on 1 and the other running off the ssr.

MG i didnt brine my beer can chicken at all i just used the rub and made sure the beer was half full. i cooked it for 4 hours @ 225. i didnt foil it i justpulled it and let it rest about 30 minutes

id use jeffs rub on it, id rub it the day before and let it rest in the fridge overnight. i smoked it for about 4 hours and i used hickory wood for my smoke turned out excellent. the wife wants me to do it again.

Np Len, the only problem i had was finding a fan that was a low cfm, i ultimately just used a hair dryer lol. but it works awesome, the autotune feature is awesome it actually learns how to control the temp within 2-3 degrees of whats set.
