    It's a little pricey, but the Thermoworks Thermapen seems to be pretty much the go-to for a LOT of people. I've had mine for years, and it's awesome. Rotating, backlit display. It's also instant read.

    Those look awsome. Question? Does your pellet smoker put out good smoke at that temp? My Rec Teq basically quits putting out much smoke after around 250. Just curious.
