Hey Beer, is that the King Kooker rack that comes with the coring tool? I just got one from Amazon but made boats instead. I had some peppers that were over 2" wide at the tops.
chefrob, my Bully puppy looks Identical to yours, yesterday was her 1yr birthday... she loves ABTs too. This was at 3...
THANKS desert & eman!
I always thought that was a misnomer, refried, but in Spanish it means "well fried" not "twice fried."
A lot of those recipes you boil & mash, though some end up fried.
I found a simple explanation:
I don’t know why they call them refried. I see that you have listed...
Wait for poll please...
I usually make mine cut in half lengthwise and with more than just cream cheese, so chose "as much as I can fit."
P.S. You can choose more than one answer if you like but you must do it all at once before clicking the vote button, I believe.
But sometimes you get that rogue pepper that just ruins your eating experience... maybe it's not the very first one, but after a couple... you bite in and it's too hot and you ruin your appetite, not to mention you never get to taste the other ingredients because the pepper may be so...
Thanks Chipotle, I may have to hit the dollar store, I haven't mashed a potato in 20 years... I'm just not sure how a masher will handle the onions & peppers in it. I did do an extended length smoke on the beans so they are nice & thick already.
Thanks. I just rubbed it with soy sauce and used a Beef & Chops spice grinder & black pepper grinder, pierced the roast in various spots and inserted homegrown Creole Red and Spanish Roja garlic slivers, then put it in one of those ziplocs that uses the vacuum pump to suck all the air out &...
It's 2-part.
It softens them up a little, making the total time required less, although sometimes the bacon crispness dictates.
It especially reduces the heat of the jalapenos so my 82-yr old Mom can eat them too! For people saying that their ABT's are too hot, try this; just make sure the...
Thanks Ron. I have one of those stick mixers somewhere too, the kind you use to make drinks or puree stuff into soups, etc. Maybe I will try a cupful in a pint or quart container with it. I don't know a lot about refried beans how they are made, other than they aren't fried or refried!
The pepperoni bits make them taste like slim jims inside the ABTs, and the cheese was mild, like a cross between a jack and provolone.
They tasted great! I'm gonna go have me a few more, they are even great cold!
Curious if anybody tried to make refried beans, how, and if you can make them with Dutch's Wicked Beans. Every now & then I can go for some refried beans but the canned ones I always think I bought the wrong brand since they don't taste what I thought they'd taste like...Since I like Dutch's...
Not sure if this is really Q-View but here we go...
First, I must say this was done on the cheap--a new PriceRite recently opened here. And what I didn't get there, I got at Aldi's!
I sliced my jals lengthwise, this gives me 2x as much to prepare & wrap but 2x as much to eat! Remove all rib...
But the original poster made it sound like they were doing okay and then now something suddenly happened to them. That's why I asked to see pics.
I know very few varieties set fruit over 90 degrees and under 50-55 degrees too.
What did you mean, "unless you have some in pots?" You'd almost...
Most cherries are usually in the 60-65 day range, plus container plants usually produce sooner than the same plant in-ground; Opalka is considered a full-season (mid-to-late) I think 80-85 days. You should be about due!
Pruning lots of leaves doesn't help much, unless you are removing...
