    Initial burn

Definitely watched the videos on how to startup and shut down. First fail was plugging it in and pushing all buttons without anything displaying on the screen. Shouted "electric sucks!", stomped inside, and realized I never flipped the power switch to "On" :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Initial burn

FINALLY assembled the smoker AND the storage shed so we can try and keep the rig clean when not in use! Fired it up for the initial 'burn off' in preparation for the inaugural food smoke! First time with an electric smoker and it's interesting, to say the least. The Traeger app is handy to...

Great post as I start searching for pork butts for my inaugural smoke on my new Traeger pellet smoker. Glad you found a sale at Publix that matches the price of the box stores, I do like the quality of their meat. Used to buy my pork butts at Sams's club, but they closed down the store in...

Time to get back to smoking

HAHA - I still need to put the rig together. We are going to buy a shed as a home for the smoker so it doesn't rust like crazy left in the elements on the back porch. Once we have it together pulled pork will be part of the inaugural smoke and then I can start participating in the ever so...
