How to incorporate a smoke house into the landscape

Mornin Ray, great job on the smoke house! I showed it to my wife and she said it was beautiful! A few sheets lattice on treated 4x4's put in the ground with flowering vines would dress it up some. Just a thought.

    MES+AMNPS vs Bradley

I have a MES 40 and the AMNPS and really like them. I've only been smoking meat and making sausage for about 6 months and with that equipment and the Maverick thermometer I have yet to turn out anything that I was disappointed with. Problem? with canadian bacon

I do the dry cure also, and there never very much if any liquid in the bag. As for the pink part, I'd do like the other guys suggested and trim it off. In the future if you don't already do it, move the meat around several times a day while it is curing. Good Luck!

    Pictures from Sam's Club

I bought the same unit a few months ago and love it. One thing I did do when putting it together was to pull the access door in the back and check the wiring connections to make sure that they were tight. They were.

'Mornin Viper, I just read your posts and think you have the right idea. I have been working at getting to the level of self sufficiency that you have reached. Every season I get a little closer. I'm the only one I know except for people on this forum and my wife who thinks like this. Kudos to you!

    Maverick or Not?

I have the 732 and it does a great job. It is one of those things that like Jeff says, if you don't read the instructions it might not seem like it is working right. Good luck!
