I went to their site and the unit is no longer there. I even did a search of my own and I saw the unit listed in the listings, but when I went to click on it I kept getting an error page.
Goliath? Does the unit only do wood chips? Or can you put pellets in it as well? And I gather from whats been said that it works with hot smokes as well as cold smokes, right?
Just found this on Amazon and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using one of these for either cold or hot smoking?
I would love to have 6 hours of consistent and constant smoke as this unit implies.
YES, I have the A-maze-n 5X6 smoking unit, but no matter what I do I can't get...
Hi everyone, I have been looking to step up my smoking game to include brisket.
The last beef product I tried was a roast, and basically all I ended up with was a BBQ flavored cement cube by the time I was done.
Because I am on a fixed income I have to now be far more careful in buying and...

I did all that, and still had dead pellets.
At this point I gotta believe its wet pellets.
But as soon as the weather breaks (really cold and rainy here), I will be trying some more ribs for my dad.
Yep. tried all that. Cept for the juice jugs.
I cant help but think these pellets have already drawn up moisture and need to be dried,,, like in a kiln if I had one.
Any thoughts about how to draw the moisture out of them??
I have the latest version of the MES 40 and I also purchased a AMNPS 5x8 to go with it because I didn't really want to sit around and fill the chip loader with chips every 20-30 minutes to get a deep smoked flavor that I like best.
As the title of this thread suggests,, I can't seem to keep my...
Agreed, the MES is sealed very tightly. I didn't have have the time to explore you placement and settings while it was 250 degrees but the next time I smoke (next week), I am going to try a few of your suggestions.
I am just curious,, has anyone ever designed a pellet/chip feeder the works...
As promised,, MORE PICS!!!
The reveal after sitting for 35 minutes wrapped and drenched in BBQ Sauce!
And now for the first cuts!
All sliced up!
Ok. Now for my techniques and impressions.
Smoked the loin seen above till it hit an IT of 150F degrees. Figured it would be a good midway...
