Welcome from Michigan. Having both the Highland and the Bronco Drum, all I can say is it is night and day difference in using the two. Welcome @TomCrump I have a cottage 26 miles east of TC. Wind can cause issues, if possible some type of windbreak can help. Looking at your setup (nice), looks like it may be possible to place plywood or even a tarp. Both removable when not needed. Guessing you Smoke year round?- Danno44

I have no issues anywhere in my house, including basement area. They advertise 150 ft. I’ll be using it again tomorrow and will test the limits on it.- Danno44

Finally got around to using my new Inkbird IBT-6XS. Very easy to charge, update and pair with phone. Tested the probes and all were between 211-212 for boiling water. Smoking some pork loins on the Bronco. Little tweaks to dampers but holding steady. So far during initial run, very pleased...- Danno44
