Amazon Flash/Lightning Deal for Inkbird IBT-6XS Bluetooth BBQ Thermometer with 6 probes

Really happy when I was able to get one of these during a flash sale a month or so ago. For the cost hard to beat. In fact considering letting my 1 year old Smoke go because I never use it since getting this unit.

How much to charge per pound of smoked pork butt.

I spent my 35 year career involved with manufacturing/import/export and/or distribution. Standard selling pricing of anything is 3x total cost of what’s called Cost of Good Sold. So as an example, COGS is your cost of meat, wood/fuel, pans, gloves, seasoning/sauces, buns and then your time, not...

Brand new to smoking on an offset grill

Welcome from Michigan. Having both the Highland and the Bronco Drum, all I can say is it is night and day difference in using the two. Temperature and smoke control are going to be your big leaning curve here. Do a search here and watch a few YT videos. Not sure where your located but for...

    Any new Michigan Members?

Welcome @TomCrump I have a cottage 26 miles east of TC. Wind can cause issues, if possible some type of windbreak can help. Looking at your setup (nice), looks like it may be possible to place plywood or even a tarp. Both removable when not needed. Guessing you Smoke year round?

    Initial run of Inkbird IBT-6XS

Finally got around to using my new Inkbird IBT-6XS. Very easy to charge, update and pair with phone. Tested the probes and all were between 211-212 for boiling water. Smoking some pork loins on the Bronco. Little tweaks to dampers but holding steady. So far during initial run, very pleased...
