    30" MES - Which model to get

    I just got one from Amazon last week, and it's apparently a 20070910 model, so I'm not sure if that's the old or new one? Anyway, used it a couple times last weekend and really like it! My only worry is if the element goes out.

    I'd recommend trying a couple of the Vision Version 3 types. They don't cost much and they are cheap to rebuild. $1.99 for a wick assembly makes it hardly worth cleaning them.

    I've noticed the same thing with all my clearomizers: eventually the wicks get burnt and you have to replace them. On the Vision (or Stardust) style, you can get away with washing them in warm water quite a few times, but the T3's don't seem to take to that as well. They do last a good long time...

    Thanks again! Of course, when I almost make a decision, Amazon raised the price by $30 and WalMart says out of stock! I won't be buying one until I get back from an Alaska cruise on Memorial Day, anyway.
