     I'll most probably get a Maverick meat thermometer, but I'd like an accurate door thermometer as well. I was informed the one on my Masterbuilt 2 door propane smoker would probably be off. Any suggestions? In advance thanks for your knowledge

    Thanks for the advice Dirt Sailor. I'm a bit miffed by the sand in the water pan. What does the sand accomplish? Seems there are a number of acronyms used here I'm unfamiliar with as well. GOSM?
