    just put her on...smoker was holding at 250. how long does a spatchcocked bird take? 9lbs - 30 - 45min per lb.? is that right?

    awesome. i'm smoking my 2nd Turkey of alll time tonight. Decided to wrap the Turkey with bacon. (didn't know it was common, haha - still a newbie). Anyway, I decided to use apple smoked bacon. i will be using hickory for the smoke. and i found an applywood rub i'm going to use.

    FYI the temp at hour 2 was 250. this is only my second time smoking ribs so i'm still in the learning curve for heat control.
