    Awesome smoke ! We have a charity event put on by a local Greek church, and I have to get my lamb "fix" there. They do lamb a few different ways, but cooked over open wood on a spot is my favorite. You have me inspired. I'll try some in the smoker. Thanks for posting.

    I had a Little Chief with a burned out element. We used to take it on camping trips and burn a few briquettes and wood chips. Smoke some trout for a bit, and finish in a skillet or wrapped in foil and baked under the campfire. Good times !

    A hand held soldering torch would work, but if you want to get serious, go to Harbor Freight and pick up a weed burner for $19.99. They always have a 20% off coupon on their web page, gets you down under $15.00. There's lots of other things to use it for around the house, too.

    The ribs turned out just right...juicy, meaty, bur not fatty. I didn't get all the pictures I wanted. When the dinner bell rings, the family helps cut, slice and serve. They also make all the food disapear. Just get out of the way, you' be OK.
