    I don't mind going the tried and tested route if it fails so no biggie. I was originally trying to make a mini wsm till i remembered i could get drums of my dad. .... they use the pots so thats where i got the idea from.

    Hi all hopping to be picking up an oil drum tommorow for a uds. Hopefully should have the lid off and first burn done tommorow. Quick question on the coal basked can i use an old stock pot with plenty of drilled holes ? Any perticuler dimensions if so ? Thanks dan :)
