I trim most of it off. At the section where you can separate the point from the flat there will be a big section that looks like a V. I trim most of that out and it will be a lot of fat. Any big chunks around the point I trim down ti a 1/4" or less. Makes you feel bad cutting that much off but...
Just a heads up. Ice Daddy's ice freezer is kaput this year so it won't be there. We'll have to go to town for ice at some point. Jerry's ice machine probably will not keep up. Save it for food.
Nice looking smoker. Fixing to start a new one my self. Going to make a 4x4. A lot of people say don't use fiberglass but if the inside is sealed what difference does it make? Not planning on going over 180
Welcome to the forum. Can become an addiction. I started with a cheap brinkman then made a double barrel out of 55 gallon drums. Bought a 250 reverse flow and been thru 2 MES's.
