Well pork butt is a Pork Scotch Fillet., Brisket is still brisket., Our bacon different. USA bacon is called Streaky bacon or Belly bacon. our bacon is called Eye Bacon or just bacon.
Also our bacon is cut thinker than USA bacon. it doesn't crisp up nearly as good..
Im guessing most people here are American. Since i read and watch tonnes of smoking and grilling i found it really interesting that we call cuts of meat something totally different.
For example.
Boston Butt (which isnt from the butt :P): We call a Scotch Fillet
Porterhouse: we call a TBone...
Yeah i wouldnt smoke with that. we mainly use Ironbark(Red) thats what most of the shops sell.
