    Martin I use one of those green scouring pads along with a re-season touch up now and then and I'll take cast iron over teflon any day.

    Sometimes  you just need to go for it with cast iron.  The best part is I have left overs....tonight!

    Yes the fresh herbs gives it a nice flavor.  Also when they cook up some will stick to the chicken.

    I fried the chicken first for about 12 minutes on each side.  Then placed in the smoker at 225 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.  A nice gentle smoke flavor with the crunch and saltiness of fried chicken.

    Prado is in the Corona area.  San Dimas has Puddingstone lake with a great picnic area.

    If your looking for some bb with a little more meat on them Restaurant Depot has them for about the same price per pound.  Of course there is more weight per package.
