    Thanks for the replies and heads up on the Amazon smoke generator. I might have to spring for either the 5x8 or 12" tube. Being in Oklahoma, I'll probably have to wait a couple months for temps fall to 70' or so.

    Just joined up, hoping to learn how to use my new smoker/grill. Bought a Char Griller from Lowes with the smoker attachment. One grill is dedicated gas and the other grill is for charcoal. I plan on using it as a smoker. Mike
