I tried to make dinner rolls using this recipe and they came out crunchy on the outside. I was hoping for soft dinner rolls. Can anyone see where i went wrong? Thanks for your input

I have an aero garden as well. Do you leave the jalapenos and tomatoes in the areogarden or do you transplant these out? I started some of my tomatoes in the garden but they got really big so i transplanted out in my garden. It would be nice to have some in the aero garden the entire time
I'm using Gold Medal unbleached APF. The starter seems to be good now but yes it took a long time to get here. I started one after Thanksgiving and gave up on it as my house is pretty cold in the winter. Everything I was reading said to proof the starter at 75 to 80 degrees, my house is 62 at...
I'm happy with it but just wasn't sure why I didn't get the sour flavor, but with the comments on this post I think I'm on the right track and it just takes time for the starter to get that flavor.
