FUNH20, Welcome to the forum the MN get together would be great, smoking in this weather is a bit of a challenge but is still lots of fun. the garage is a good idea as is the windbreak, both make it work fine even when very cold. Don't wait just go for it!!!!- smokingrookie

Figured I better introduce myself
I'm not quite new to the forum, just totally computer stupid and finally figured out how it works. Also found a local trucking job that gets me home daily should be around alot more now. The neighbors will be happy I usually don't have to call but they all show up somehow when the smoker gets...- smokingrookie

5 day ecourse Final Exam......
I had the same problem with some venison I tried the 3-2-1 method does help, but I haven't tried brine I think it would be well worth the effort. Good luck and keep on hunting, Travis- smokingrookie
