    Shirley Fabricators Smokers

While I built my own smoker, Paul actually advised me on many aspects of its layout and the trailer. Your comments are spot on. Great people to work with. I had met him on a forum about fabrication and eventually emailed him a bunch of questions. More than a generous contribution to my...

    Hello From VT

Hi there, Coming from the northeast kingdom of Franklin County, I gotta say maple does a great job. Nice looking ribs and fully agree, you're getting the results you want, the only thing you need to do is start collecting a couple different types of smokers:biggrin: When that nice fall...

    First cheese...have a few questions..

What kind of temperatures do you have outside down there? Once it hit 55 here, my internal smoker temp would hit 90 and possibly more. Since I have cooled and packed 1 grilled cheese already in April, I'm hoping not to get to that point again. During the 55-60 degree days, night would be...

    WINE - Your Best Accessory!

Surf culture is a completely different set of rules. We have a heavy summer surf society about 15 miles away in the Pt. Pleasant, Manasquan area. My son was into it heavily for a few years and there is some huge summer surf competition in July I believe. Interesting and the food in the area...

    Pistachio shells and the amnps

Hey Leah, Thanks for the accolades. I'm best thinking that the pistachio shells are now just commonplace as a smoking material we enjoy. I wished it was penicillin or some other miracle development but it's just a nut sack. I do however have about 9 lbs stashed in a zip lock or two. I admit...

    Pistachio shells and the amnps

We have some large apple orchards here and I thought about asking for the limbs and chunks they cut and prune but I am wondering whether or not any pesticides used on theses trees might prove to be an issue

    Cooking for a crowd

Well as I see it today, Burlington is not Vermont any more and I agree with you about change. I refer more to the initial thoughts you had projected when we first started chatting. The parts northeast of Enosburg are still darn close to their 1940 s image albeit a ton of peeling paint. That's...
