Use a rubber cork. Harbor junk sells a small kit with various sizes. I lost caps to gas cans I used for motorcycle racing,
and I use them...still after 20yrs. No issues.
I'm not sure how that would work out, look, or taste. Microwaves heat the water/moisture up in the food to "cook" it. How would that not fubar up the steak and make it shoe leather tough?

It's probably a torx bit (star shaped). I doubt it has a fancy security bolt (Allen head with a center post). If it does have a security bolt, head to harbor freight to pick up a security bolt set for 20.00 or so.
This is how we cleaned our cutting boards in restaurants.
Lay paper towels on the surface, spray the entire covered surface with bleach water solution. Let sit for 10 mins. Take ti wash sink and rinse well.
I've done it both ways. 10 prior yrs it's been with beans. The last batch was no beans. I like no beans. I'll be making another batch of brisket chili next week, no beans.
I make large dinners with plenty of leftovers. Brisket, roasts, whole chickens (halved), chili, lamb, etc. All leftovers (meat and sauces) get vac sealed and tossed in my deep freezer.

I got the name "Demon" from my time of sportbike riding. For some reason, wildlife was drawn to me and my bike. 2 rabbits, 4 squirrels, and 6 birds were all casualties. So DemonRR, DemonTrich, and DemonPit.
I used to use one in my garage during winter (Michigan) to overhaul my race motorcycle. Open the garage a bit to exhaust the co2. It would get warm enough for a t-shirt and pants while rebuilding the bike.
