Those beef ribs look good! I've seen them in the grocer but wasn't sure what to expect (nor how to approach) - I was sceert basically! May have to give those a go!
I'm too lazy (and thirsty) when the meat is done so I do my cleanup the next day. A quick wipe with a damp Magic Eraser on the firebox box probe, over temp button and meat probe and they're good to go - surprising how well the eraser works.....
mummel- I've been following your trials and tribulations..... sounds like a rough time and it's slowing me down from making a purchase. The little tray in the MES hasn't been bad since I haven't done a long smoke yet but I'm getting the itch to do a butt soon. I hope you stumble on a cure.....

Cool, thanks. Wasn't quite what I pictured in my head but will be checking that out. The AMZNPS sure has a lot of fans but a lot have struggled with it as well. Nothing's ever easy!
Thanks for the review Jay - I've been wanting to get an AMZNPS for my MES 40 BT. I haven't had the smoker too long and haven't done any smokes longer than 4 hours to date but I can see that a long smoke would be a pain with the little side loader for chips. Do you have a link for Masterbuilt's...
Smoked a couple of pork tenderloins over apple chips Friday using Jeff's recipe with a maple syrup coat and peach chutney - wow! Some kinda good! Dropped the missus off at the airport an hour ago - gonna be gone for the week - smoking me a rack of baby backs tomorrow......
I recently picked up a Droid Turbo - I can get about 25' or so into the house. This allows me to monitor from our home office but was hoping to be able to follow from in the living room or kitchen but it just won't reach that far.....
Not the most healthy things but mighty tasty. I bet a bacon cheese burger type fatty might be good if it can be done without being too dry. I imagine a search on this site would turn up something....
Well, it came out great. It took a little over 2 hours to reach temp but that's because I forgot got to take it out of my beer fridge to get it closer to room temp before I put it in the smoker. Anyway, sauced it about 20 minutes before completion and served with sauce on the side. Delish!

Yeah, I got lazy - it wasn't anything extraordinary! I had an old DroidX that was 5 years old so the Turbo is really wowing me so far - it updated to the new release shortly after I got it home.
Rolled up one for dinner tonight. Regular pork sausage with a light shmear of pizza sauce layered up with mozz, green pepper and pepperoni. Nothing fancy but should be good.
Going to use cherry chips and plan to sauce up the outside with pizza sauce for the last 30 minutes - sort of like doing...
