    I pull mine at around 180 and foil it. It will continue to cook for some time after you pull it and place it in a cooler.

    The one on the Walton's site is the new model. The old model has the top popup display. IMHA the Cajun injector smoker sold by Bruce Foods is a copy and lesser quality than the Masterbuilt Electric Smoker's. I live in Wichita, KS the location of Walton's. I will see if i can go into there...

    Can one of the new owners post a picture of the data plate for me. I wanted some information from the new plate. It should be on the back. I don't need the serial number you should black it out in the picture so no one can use it. Thanks.

    Masterbuilt 20070910 MES 30 question

    The 20070910 has a heating element access door. This allows the heating element to be replaced without having to drill out the rivets on the back of the unit. See step 4:

    This is a picture of the controller board wich is located on the bottom of the MES. I had to scrap off all the protective sealant so that i could read the board better. Mabe this will help.
