    I bought the LavaLock gasket kit for my 18" WSM and did the lid and door only. I wouldn't worry about the bottom section. As mentioned it will seal better the more you use it and always control temp with just the bottom vents and leave the lid vent fully open. I have Cajun Bandited the heck...

    Sauced them up, another fifteen minutes.. Internal temps of the ribs were 205 degrees.

    Probing at 190 degrees. Another half hour and I'll check them again. Temps at 286 now at grill level.

    At 315 degrees cooking temp now. Clean clear smoke! It smells awesome. The ribs are wrapped ,so it doesn't matter as far as the smoke goes. But boy does it smell sweet!

    Used some Orange Blossom Honey I bought on a trip to see my brother in Orlando, FL. Nice hint of citrus taste to it! Internal temp was 180 degrees.
